Walk in the Woods
Acrylic on canvas, 2018
This artwork was inspired by Thomas Moran, a Hudson River School painter. In this painting, I have depicted a forest scene in Maine. I chose to paint this because Maine is one of the places where the majority of its landscape are covered with forests. It is home to various tree species, including aspen, red, birch, sugar maples, oak, spruces, and red and white pines. The millions of acres of woodland supply habitats for a myriad of creatures.
